These terms are an agreement between you and eazy.studio s.r.o., Kraľovany 146, 027 51 Kraľovany, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 53 315 057 ("we", "us"), the provider of the WowSky app and website. By creating an account or by tapping "I agree" in the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use WowSky.
1. The service
WowSky forecasts how beautiful sunrises and sunsets will be, lets you photograph and share them ("skies"), give a "wow", follow people and see skies on a map and globe. The forecast is an estimate based on weather data and may be wrong; do not rely on it for safety decisions. WowSky is free; there are no purchases in the app.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires it, e.g. 16 in Slovakia without a parent's consent).
- You sign in with Apple, Google or an e-mail code. Keep access to your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person, one account. Your @nickname must not impersonate anyone or be offensive.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
3. Your content
- You keep the rights to the photos and texts you share. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, resize and distribute them within WowSky and its web pages and share links, only to operate and show the service, for as long as they are shared. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account (except copies already shared by others outside WowSky or kept in backups for up to 30 days).
- Share only photos you took yourself or have the right to share.
- Public skies are visible to anyone, also on the web. Choose "Followers" if you want a smaller audience.
4. Community rules – zero tolerance
WowSky is a place for the sky. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or do any of the following:
- Nudity, sexual content or sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities).
- Violence, gore, threats, self-harm promotion, terrorism or extremism.
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected trait.
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, doxxing or sharing other people's private information.
- Photos of identifiable people without their consent where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
- Spam, advertising, scams, malware, fake accounts, impersonation or manipulation of wows and rankings.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or is illegal where you or we are.
- Content that is not about the sky (sunrise, sunset and the light around them) – it may be removed as off-topic.
What we do: captions and names are checked automatically; content can be reported by anyone in the app ("…" → Report) and three independent reports hide a sky until we review it. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or permanently remove the accounts of people who post it, without prior warning for serious violations. You can also block any user; they will no longer see you and you will not see them.
5. Acceptable use of the service
Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or data, to bypass rate limits or security, to scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, or to use it to build a competing database.
6. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the WowSky app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms. 7. Apple-specific terms
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims) or for third-party intellectual-property claims. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a terrorist-supporting country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
8. Ending
You can stop using WowSky and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service (we will announce a discontinuation at least 30 days in advance where possible).
9. Liability
WowSky is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer in the EU.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms; for significant changes we will tell you in the app before they apply. These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic; as a consumer you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence. EU consumers can use the online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
